This picture may not look like much, but to our family, it means so much. This Christmas, we have all 3 stockings hung by our chimney with care. Last year, there were no stockings hung at home. Claire's stocking (the one in the middle) was hung on her crib in Duke's ICN last year. So for us, this picture marks a special time in our lives. Something more than words can describe.

ReplyDeleteWe were at MUSC fighting for Mason's life this time last year... Christmas was the farthest thing from our mind.
I've been able to breathe a cautious breath of relief this year and enjoy the Holidays.
Although we've (heart families) have been through so much, there's a hidden Blessing in the ability to feel so much thankfulness over something as small as a stocking hung by the fireplace. <3
