Good Morning...or should I say GREAT Morning!
God is so good! All the doctors, surgeon, nurses and family made it safely to Duke this morning for Claire's first surgery.
Rebecca texted to tell me Claire is doing well. The surgeon came out to tell them Claire did well in surgery. They drained 150mls from the liver cysts. The surgeon said that she was hopeful that she was able to drain most of the large and medium cysts. There are a lot of septations in the big cyst but the surgeon tried to drain as much as possible.
Claire is in recovery now in the ICN and we all hope she will be extubated tonight so that she can eat.
We will update more as we get more information.
